Palo on Pirate night. Will kids miss the fun?

The almost unanimous opinion seems to be Palo on Pirate night (Fantasy.) Sounds good to me bc I don't want to dress up and I don't want to miss the animation show in AP. However, DS8 will be with us (his older brothers will not.) Will the Clubs be empty that night bc everyone is excited about Pirate night? Will a big deal be made of it so he feels he is missing a great thing? He is not much into dress up anyway, but I feel nervous planning to miss 'the big night.'

As long as you're out early enough to take him to deck show and fireworks, I think he'll be fine. The pirate dinner really isn't anything special.
