We are sailing on the 4 day in a couple of weeks and I am wondering how difficult it is to get a late Palo ressie for Sunday nite. We have early dinner so we thought we may be able to double dip with an appetizer and dessert! Thanks! we can't wait as it just started snowing again!!!

The key to your Palo reservation is to board early and go to the reservations area right away. Reservations on the Wonder do fill up fast. They are much easier to get on the Magic (same number of passengers, twice as many Palo ressies). You can send DH to Palo ressies and you can go to spa ressies (hee hee). After that, register the kids (they are already "in" the programming...there is no chance of it being full.)

Where do you go on the Wonder to get ressie's for PALO? I read somewhere that the reservations are not taken right at PALO but somewhere else on the ship. I also heard that they don't start taking reservations for PALO until like 1 or 1:30. Is that true?

Where do you go on the Magic to make reservations for Palo? And how early can you make them?

Last time I was on the Wonder (3 day), Palo reservations were made in Wavebands. And the first night was the easiest to get.

Sure, that's an option. But this would mean missing Hercules, the Muse-ical. It's a big, fun show. And it means you wouldn't really get to enjoy a true multi-course meal at Palo.

I'd rather go to the show and then arrive hungry at Palo.

We have seen Hercules on the Magic and would not mind missing it in order to double dip! This is our first cruise on the Wonder - is Wavebands the equivalent of Rockin Bar D? What is the latest ressie Palo will take? We plan to stay up late and sleep in this trip!!!

Magic ressies are made in Rockin Bar D. They were taking ressies at noon (we boarded at 11:50)

We did exactly as you propose on the 7/13 Wonder - 8:30 reservations Sun eve. It was SUPER! Because there was no Golden Mickeys show we didn't miss any shows....very easy to get first night reservations - I believe it was very unpopular. The chart was WIDE open when we went to make the reservations and we didn't "run" either!
For our TAPT rotation, this was perfect so we still had a nice night in Tritons and nice formal pictures.

Great to hear - I think we'll give it a try! It's snowing like crazy here and all we can do is dream of the "Wonder"!!

When we boarded the Wonder last Sunday at 12:00 they told us they wouldn't start taking Palo reservations until 1:00 at Wavebands.......and thats the time they finally opened the door(1:00) to take them.

We had no problem getting thm for Monday(2nd night)...but we were only about 15 people back from the front of the line. They say the reservations fill up with in 1 hour.::yes::

Nick did you go directly to wavebands as soon as you boarded to wait in line for the reservations?

Since it was 12:15 and they said the doors won't open until 1;00 at Wavebands, we went over to Parot Cay for lunch and went back in line at 12;40 and there were only about 15 people in front of us.

We had the choice of any night at Palo.
