PALO Fully Booked 90 Days in Advance!

actuarian, what I did, and you can try also, is when on the Disney Cruise website, any page, go to the bottom and click on contact us. They'll ask you to supply your email address, name, address, and phone number. Then it asks you to select what area you have a comment about. I selected "My Disney Cruise Line Reservation". Then, in the message box, I told them how I tried to reserve as soon as it opened and nothing was available. I further told them I couldn't believe that all slots were full. I finished by telling them my reservation number and that if possible I would like seating for 2 on a certain day at a certain time. As I said in my prior post, about 4-5 hours later I got an email back stating that they were happy to inform me that I got my reservation.

I did try to get somewhere on the phone between the time I sent them a comment and the time I received their email, but the person wasn't too helpful and said they only get a limited number of spot.

Hope this helps.

Hello everyone,

I want to preface my question by letting everyone know that I have never been on a Disney cruise before. With that being said, I'm just curious as to why Palo receives so much interest. I thought that it was a restaurant for dinner. Is it the same kind of food that is served in the other restaurants? I realize that it is adult only, but other than that, what is the difference?

Thank you !! & excuse my ignorance on Palo:blush:

I'm sure that you will receive several different responses to this. The food is Italian-inspired and is, IMHO, "better" than the food in the main dining room. You can get filet maignon in Palo...it's my favorite type of steak, so I'd go just for that :)

do you have to have your cruisepaid in full prior to uisng the web site to book palo?

The second (and last) time I called this number, I asked the same question and they were very firm about telling me that Palo reservations cannot be made that way. I then told them about the previous posting on this thread indicating that someone (JLDSMD but I did not tell them that name) had gotten reservations by emailing the Help line. At this point they became rude and told me that the posting had to be false and that Palo was really fully booked. Their final comment was "Tell your little friends on the internet not to tie up this number with requests for Palo reservations". I have been to WDW at least 20 times and on DCL 5 times and had never before experienced rudeness from a CM! :sad2:

HOW RUDE! You should definitely write a letter or send an e-mail about that one! :earseek:
