Palo for brunch or dinner?

What are my chances of getting a brunch reso if I am a 1st time DCL cruiser??

Decent, especially if you are on a longer cruise with more than one sea day. If you are on a cruise with only one sea day, you might have more difficulty. You may not be able to book it in advance, but they do hold back reservations for people to book onboard. So if you don't get the reservation when your online booking window opens, go to Palo as soon as you board and inquire if they have spots available.

Preferably both, but if you have to choose one, I'd go with brunch.

We did both last week and enjoyed them both, but if we had to choose one, it would be brunch. I wasn't able to get a brunch reservation online but went there as soon as they opened after we boarded and had no problem getting a reservation.

We sailed last week and had dinner at Palo. The only thing that I was missing was the view. We were the first in the dining room at 6pm and it was already dark. I love eating with a view. We could see a couple of ships off in the distance, but that was it.
