DCL holds back some Palo reservations for people to book when they board. Check your Navigator when you board, and go immediately to "dining changes" and see if you can book Palo there.

People cancel all the time - as there is a dining charge. Once on board, check to see if there already is some availability. If not, speak with your head server (or call the Palo manager) and get on the waiting list. That list moves fast.

We have booked a cruise 8 days before sailing and only one brunch day (Nassau, Dream) and were able to get a reservation.
Like PP said, find where and what time to be where they make Palo reservations in your Navigator when you get to port.
Get there 30 minutes or so prior and may be able to get one. We were #2 in line and got a brunch. The crazy thing was during our brunch, there were many open tables, I was surprised.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the tips. It doesn’t even show up now on the list. Last night it did but just said no times available. I have to have my sticky buns! :)

On our first cruise there was obviously nothing available to book online but once we boarded there were lots of time slots to choose from. And of course we loved it!

To add what has already been said here, I think DCL holds back many reservation times till the boarding day. We are Silver and could not get a Palo brunch booking ahead of time. But once on board in-person, we got the exact day and time we wanted with no wait an no issue.

The Palo manager told us once that they (purposely) only release so many tables for brunch because they want to keep the dining room calm and quiet to enhance the diner's experience. So, it will always have lots of empty tables. That being said, however, somehow, we always manage to get a reservation once we get on board. Just do what others have suggested--go a little early and get in line. I am with you about the sticky buns--oh my goodness!

Do you have one sea day or two? We only had one sea day for our cruise this summer on the Magic in the Mediterranean and we weren't able to get one. I checked online constantly leading up to the cruise. I understand that they were gone all gone after Platinum booked. Then I tried to get one on board but was not able. I was added to a wait list and I called every day onboard leading up to the sea day and we never got it.

We cruise on the Wonder the week after you (Jan 20) and I'm really crossing my fingers that when we check-in in a week that we can get one. I hear from our cruise meet group that one day is already full after Platinum checked in. Hopefully we can get something on the second sea day.

May 2018 was my first Disney cruise. Could not reserve a Palo Brunch reservation online. We got onboard at 2 PM. I went directly to Deck 12 Aft where Palo (and Remy) are located, and, booked Brunch. No lines, no problems. We had a marvelous time as well. So, don't worry if you cannot book Palo Brunch online. Just do so soon as you board on embarkation day. Enjoy!
