I take it that this is also "18 and older", ie. no kids?

What is acceptable dress for the brunch?

Do you tip for the brunch, and if so, how much?

Anyplace I can see the brunch menu?

Thanks ever so much, all you cruise experts!!!

Yep, you're right, no kids. :D

Acceptable dress is resort casual and they request no shorts, but I have seen folks in shorts there. I usually wear a casual skirt or skort.

Yes, you tip for the brunch, actually there is a $10 cover charge per person. We always tip more than that as the service warrants it. :D Sometimes they will keep refilling your champagne glass for free and other times they charge you for additional glasses -- I've had both situations occur. Either way, I always tip extra.

The brunch menu changes from time to time but generally consists of cold items such as wonderful seafood (including shrimp and crab), cold salads, chesses and meats. They also have 4 hot entrees that they cook to order for you, one fish, one beef, one chicken and one pasta. There are also breakfast foods such as omelets available, pizzas, and of course a whole myriad of desserts.

It's my FAVORITE meal on the ship, hands down. Enjoy! :sunny:

Deb in IA,
Yes, brunch is for 18 and older...no kids allowed! Dress is "resort casual". DH wore a polo shirt and khakis. We did tip our server Louise...I think we gave her $20. She was wonderful! If you go for brunch make sure you are really hungry...there is a cold buffet with crab legs (already cracked), shrimp and lots of great salads and then you order your main dish from your server. And make sure you leave room for the sweet pizza!
Have fun!

Definately go hungry! Plenty of wonderful items on the cold buffet including cracked crab, huge shrimp, smoked fish, and many salads of all types. (The humus was fantastic!)Then, your made to order meal, and so many desserts. We did tip our waiter, Salvatore, above the $10 pp charge.

And in addition to the fantastic food, it's the only time/place on the boat you get get decent orange juice!
