Palo Brunch or Dinner?

Palo Brunch! ::yes::

Last cruise, we did both brunch and dinner. We enjoyed both, but liked the brunch more. Also, we missed our regular dining companions and servers the night we went to Palo.

Well if you force me to only choose one, then I would vote for brunch... I would still try to convince you to let me choose both :D

I have been leaning toward the brunch myself.. I've done dinner there a few times, but never gotten a chance to try the brunch. I have heard nothing but rave reviews of it, and I have always been very satisfied with all my meals in the dining rooms.

ps... we are on the same cruise Rebecca :wave2:

Can't wait to get some cruise docs... I was just out doing some yard work, and saw the UPS truck turn onto the street, and got all excited.. alas, it wasn't stopping at my house today:( .. soon though!

We haven't done dinner - Happy with the rotational dinning, always enjoyed our tablemates, really like our servers - so we've never gone.

We do "do Brunch" however. It is great and on our "Not to be Missed" list of things to do on the cruise.

Hey, am I nuts for wanting to do BOTH and on the same day???

If I could only do one, I'd still find a way to do both. :D

I have done Palo brunch, tea, and dinner. We had a wonderful time at both brunch and dinner. Next time it will be a priority for me to do brunch again .. it was wonderful!!! If we can fit in dinner than we will do that too, but brunch is a definite!!!!

I would choose the brunch. It was delicious! And abundant! And beautiful! And you could see out the windows! ANd the staff was great! And . . and . . and . . I loved it!

Whoa, disboo! Great job on your weight loss!

Tough choice! I've done both brunch and dinner. Personally, I'd do the dinner just because I love the chocolate souffle. I liked the selection at dinner more. All of it was cooked to order.

We only do the brunch because we really like the rotation dining with our tablemates.

If we ever have a bad experience with tablemates then we might change our minds but after 4 cruises it has not happened.

If I had to choose, it would be brunch. :D

We're in the minority. While Brunch was good we'd definitely choose Dinner at Palo over Brunch. Love that Rack of Lamb!!!

I thought the food at dinner was better, but I loved the brunch atmosphere. If I were forced to choose one, it would be dinner. But then I'd try to find a loophole and go to brunch, too.

It's ok to want to do both -- we are.. You're still nuts though. :P :earseek: :teeth:

I really enjoyed brunch at Palo, but I thought dinner was better and if I really had to choose (please don't make me do it :teeth: ) then I would choose dinner.

I thought the atmosphere was more romantic in the evening, the service a bit more attentive, and the food tasted better - especially that souffle!

We had great service at brunch and the food was great! The server turned out to be one we had on a four day cruise with DCL a couple of years before.

The server at dinner was snooty and spent way more time with the couple next to us than with my three member family all over forty. So I would choose brunch because the server left such a bad taste in our mouths.

They shouldn't have servers like her on board.

Depends on how I feel about my tablemates and/or servers. If I am really enjoying my rotation dinners, then I'd stick with Palo brunch. If dinner is not so great, then I'd do dinner! You could book both on the first day, and then decide during the week which one to cancel.
