Palo brunch ID hassle on Dream

I find it laughable. My DD was 16 and served alcohol by DCL beverage servers on NYE at mid nite. She was served so much that she and her friends were so drunk they couldn't stand up and she fell in front of an officer. No one on DCL seemed to care. I tried to talk to the beverage manager about serving Champagne to anyone who grabs a drink from the tray but they weren't interested or concerned about the process. This also happens during the Captain reception when they hand out free drinks. Just because Palo seems strict on looking for IDs, that isn't the case on the rest of the ship.

Exactly why proof of ID should be requested.

Do they have a liquor license? If so, who issues it?

I also see no problem with asking for ID - as long as the KTTW card will suffice. I've got two bottles of champagne that says DCL agrees.

I do not take it as DCL agreeing with you, I take it as the manager of Palo not wanting a negative comment posted about them on the comment card.

Agree, proof of ID should be required - in the singular form of the KTTW card. That would have resolved the situation of serving an underage person, because the KTTW card would have revealed her age.

But, unless DCL begins to ROUTINELY require some form of ID other than the KTTW card, I simply am not going to carry anything other than the KTTW card on board.

Not seeing an issue here. People are asked for ID everywhere alcohol is served/sold. Caution is good. As for claiming that the info is available via the KTTW, what about when siblings look alike but are not the same age? What is stopping the underage person from using the older person's KTTW?
Also a drivers license would present the same problem except it would be an older photo that would be more likely to be easily mistaken. That makes no sense.
