Hi all,

We are silver CC level and on our 2023 European cruise we couldn’t get Palo brunch, even when being in the first PAT and asking when onboard. I’m not sure how we swung it with being silver but we were in the first 50 people onboard and still couldn’t get one of the reservations they supposedly hold back.

We are doing the 9 night Alaskan cruise in July and was wondering of the likelihood of being able to book Palo brunch when our online check in window opens? We have 2 sea days (not sure if they do Palo brunch during the glacier viewing?)

We really missed it in our last cruise!

Also, what is the Palo dinner availability like? We would like to try and book for 2 nights if possible.

Thanks for your help 🙂

We are silver and haven’t been able to book before our last two cruises but have been able to get a reservation once onboard. First place we went when we got on the ship and they fit us in for the day we wanted.

I'm silver and brunch was available on multiple days when my 2023 Alaska booking window opened, but I was on a standard seven night itinerary and our cruise group had a decent amount of first time cruisers. On my upcoming April cruise (4 night out of San Diego), brunch was not available when the silver window opened but we were able to book it after a few weeks of checking multiple times a day.

One of the biggest determinations on being able to book Palo brunch ahead of time is the distribution of Castaway Club levels your sailing. While it's impossible to know this for sure, more unique itineraries tend to draw more high-level CC members. if that's the case on your sailing, it might be harder to get Palo brunch ahead of time. If it's a more 'normal' distribution on your sailing, then as silver you have a better chance.

Also, the more sea days you have, the more opportunities they have to offer Palo brunch, which works in your favor.

If there's enough demand onboard, they might even open up brunch on port days. They just did this on the Treasure 2/1 sailing and opened up brunch for Tortola. You won't know that ahead of time, but it is a possibility!

I was Gold when we did the 9-night Alaska last July 2024. We did Palo brunch on glacier day. When my booking day opened, I couldn't get the brunch on either of the two sea days, just the glacier day. We had a really nice time!
