Palo Brunch (adding 2 more people?)

Hi Dis,

So I was lucky enough to get a Palo Brunch reservation for 2. I literally checked the website every day, and was finally able to get a spot! (roughly 6 weeks before sailing)

So now my question is, how likely is it possible to add 2 more people to our Palo Brunch once we get on board? Our reservations are linked, but they didn't have a reservation for 4 available. I figured if we have at least 1 reservation for the Palo Brunch, maybe they can make my 2 person table a 4 person table?

Just wondering if anyone on here experienced this.

DCL holds back a number of reservations for Palo for booking onboard.

Are there any 2 person reservations available? It's best if you go ahead and make a reservation for the other 2 (preferably on the same day you have yours, but not required). Then, once onboard, go to where the dining changes for Palo is (it's noted in the Navigator you get in the terminal) and ask for them to be combined. If you can't get any 2 person reservations, still go and see about adjusting the one reservation you do have. It's just easier if there are already enough reserved spaces accounted for when making changes.

Last week, we had a 2 person reservation & they said they could add 3 more - they called us the night before the brunch to ask if we still wanted to add. I'd say it's going to be a yes, just get a request in as soon as you board.

I'm having the other party check every day for a 2 person reservation haha. But i'm glad to hear that asamklove had some luck with adding additional people to your Palo Reservation. Thanks for the info!

Yes, they told me it's much easier to add people to a reservation than get a new one...and I didn't even ask until a couple of days into the cruise & it was still a "yes"!

Just go talk to Palo when you board and tell them you have 4 instead of 2. Won't be an issue.

I'll agree with the posts I've read here, just go to the desk right after you board. Their tables are designed for 4 or more, that should not be a problem. We've done it, others have done it, they really want to help you. Work with them if they ask you to change times or days, but I bet they won't.

I would not make a separate reservation for the other 2 then hope to combine them. That would be unkind to others who do want a reservation, because it ties up another table. That's not a nice way to get what you want. Your table will have room for them, and I have no doubt you'll be quickly and graciously accommodated when you go talk to them on boarding day.

I had no problem adding 2 people to an existing reservation this past summer on a sold out cruise. I just went right to the dinning changing location when we boarded. I forget the exact location but it was in the navigator.
