I did stay there this past Jan. for a few days. The entire complex is a bit different. From what I can tell a lot of the place is like a time share unit, and the part I was in was actually an old Hampton Inn that had been bought out by the Palms.
It worked fine for me as I only needed it for a place to stay, it is not far from Disney at all. Just right across the interstate. It is close to a lot of things close such as places to eat, Wallgreens, and Publix.
They had a free breakfast every morning, that was decent. More than the normal breakfase most places give. They had eggs, bacon, and lots of other selections there.
Overall it was a good experience, and this is coming form someone that hates to stay offsite. It is not a five star place, but if you are looking for a good place to stay close to Disney and not spend a lot of money, then it is worth it. The other section of the resort that is more like a time share may be better in service quality.
If I needed a place offsite again, I would pick this place again.
