I've toyed with Priceline, but my DH suggested I try Expedia, first. I found two hotels in Kissimee: Palms Hotel and Villas (three stars) for $46/night (plus $8.00 resort fee, apparently); and Palms Hotel by Lexington (2.5 stars) for $47/night (plus $8.00 resort fee, apparently). Both look pretty nice, are near WDW (apparently!) and we'll just need a place for 2 nights before we check into WL.

Anyone have any experience with either of these places? The "reviews" rated the Lexington one a good bit higher; but the other is 3 stars.

Thanks!

Here's what I can tell you....I've stayed in the Palms Hotel & Villas multiple times (it used to be Homewood Suites). It is newly remodeled and very clean. It is all suites. No frills, no room service. I am staying there on my upcoming trip in October (but, sheesh, I think I need to get my ressie from Priceline or Expedia and cancel my current one!). The second Palms that you mention is (probably) the hotel that is next door to the one I've stayed at because, when we were there in June, there was a sign up that they were going to take that one over. I haven't stayed there so I can't help you out with a review.

For the price, I'd be all over the one I usually stay at. I don't understand, though, why on the Expedia site it give a choice of a "standard" room vs a "suite". It says right on the site that it is "an all suite hotel" :confused3 .

By the way...Thanks! I just booked the same room I already had booked previously, and saved over $200 by doing it through Priceline! :cool1:
