:) I know this is a little late in coming, but I just never got around to it. I figured I better get it done before I start planning our next trip.

September 2-6, 2005
Pop Century

Cast of Characters:
Mandee(me-24)
Chad(DH-27)
Jeremiah(DS-5)
Seth(DS-4)
Ethan(DS-2)
Kaleb(DS-8months)

Thoughts on Pop Century…We love it. Colorful, easy to get around, you gotta love all the larger than life icons, well worth getting 2 rooms(for larger families)…..a value with a lounge…YAHOO!

9/2 We left home at 3pm, it’s only a 2 ½ -3 hour trip so we figured we would be arriving fairly early…DH decided he wanted to stop and eat dinner at Beef O’ Brady’s in Sebring, Fl, so that took about 45 minutes. We left there and it was smooth sailing until we hit Haines City… I would hate to live here. It’s been under construction since we started going to Disney 3 years ago. We were only about 30 minutes from getting to our resort, but because of the stand still traffic it took more like 1 hour and 30 minutes. We never did get to see why were weren’t moving for so long…but while we were sitting there for 45+ minutes the baby was screaming…and we soon smelled out why. :earseek: Finally we get on I-4 and once again traffic wasn’t moving…so I did a horrible thing and took the baby out of his seat to change him….but really since we were sitting still it was just like sitting in a parking lot. :guilty:

7:45PM- We arrive at Pop, I go in to check us in and am “greeted” by the most undisney cast member. But, I am used to this, DH always deals with wonderful people and I’ve never gotten so much as a “Have a Magical Day.” So anyway, he rudely tells me where are rooms are..the dreaded 80’s. I tried to have a good attitude about it while we drove to our parking lot. It ended up being a nice location(4th Floor, building 7), we had a view of the Computer Pool

and a cute towel animal in the window. (though that ended up being our only towel animal, everyday we would walk by the other rooms and see the window exhibits and we would have nothing. Kind of disappointing, but oh well.) There was a strange little visitor in our room the whole time though.

Now we live in Florida and bugs don’t bother us like they do some. We realize that it isn’t possible to keep them outside, but it was a little odd that it was stuck in the corner beading and stayed there the whole time….it was alive.. I guess our mousekeeper wasn’t very observant, she also never took her tip that was laying in plain site and labeled. :confused3 It's off to bed early tonight, tomorrow we encounter craptastrope #1 and a whole lot of rain.

So, is teh rest of the report in another thread, or am I just plain stoopid and do I not understand it??

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Whoa that bug has it's own zip code. It would have been toast quickly, if I had been there.
