Hi~ I am in the market for a Palm and am totally oblivious to what I should be looking for. :headache:

I am a nursing student. I would like to buy one that allows me to download drug info as well as some other medical programs. I would also like to utilize the calendar features to track my kids busy schedules! Would 32 MG be enough memory? I was looking at the Palm Tungsten E.

I have never used a Palm before and need some advice!! I don't want to spend a ton, but don't want a cheapo PDA either. I am hoping to stay under $200. Any experienced DIS'ers out there that can give me a hand?? Thanks!!!!!!!! :)

I startedwith one of the early palms and when that died went with the Sony Clie for $159. I have some nursing functions like ABG decoder and drug drip rate converter but with 3 kids in 5 sports and a DH who coaches 3 sports we have a nightmare schedule to keep track of. I love my sony. make sure you get a backlight. 32 mg should be enough for what you want to do

Barb, thanks! Did you ever end up buying one? If so, what did you get?

No, I didn't get one. I got a new cell phone that can store lots of phone numbers, and I've decided to stick with a paper calendar for now. My cell phone has a calendar option on it in case there's something I want a reminder beep on.

I still want a PDA, but I'm going to wait until my credit cards are paid off to get it so I can get a decent one without guilt!
