Palm/Handspring owners...

I've had a Handspring Visor Prism for about a year and a half, and have used it basically as a glorified address book. Actually, I recently found it after it was missing for several months (wedged between the computer desk and a file cabinet ); now I'm anxious to do more with it.

Any good resources for information about it out there, like Handspring Visor for Dummies (which I may purchase with a Half.com gift certificate that I need to unload)? Or any good software or a source for downloading FREE software?

Ask me again in a few weeks. I got a Palm Pilot for Christmas (woo hoo! ) and I love it, but I haven't done very much with it yet either. I know that there is tons of software out there, but I haven't downloaded any myself yet so I don't know which is good or not. I did a search on Google for "free palm pilot software" or something like that and got lots of results though, just have to poke through them. So I'm sure over time I'll figure it out, I just haven't had time to put into it yet. So if you ask again later I'm sure I'll know more but for now I can't help too much. (Do you have the hotsync (or whatever the equivalent is) cable that connects to your computer, as you'll need that to download software.)

One place I go to for a lot of shareware, freeware and trial software for my Palm is www.tucows.com You can search through all their software downloads and find a lot. There is a lot of software that is out there that is relatively inexpensive for Palm OS too (like $5-10) and you can at least do the trial before you buy. You can also search from the Palm website but I have found tucows easier to use. Have fun.
