Palm desert to Disneyland

Just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get from Palm Desert to Disneyland? My inlaws are going to Palm Desert and we are thinking of tagging along and just wondered if we could do a day or two at Disneyland if not too far away.

It's 'aways' I'd guesstimate about 2 hours away. Definitely do-able, but I would get a hotel near Disneyland and then return with the family when the Disneyland portion was over.

I drive from AZ and it's about 2, maybe 2 and a half, hours from Palm Desert to Anaheim.
