We have been looking at the menus for our forthcoming holiday and as we are staying in the Dolphin, we were thinking of booking a meal at Palios over at the Swan.We really like the look of the menu here.

I was wondering if anybody has any opinions on this restaurant for me please, :goodvibes

Thank you :thumbsup2

WE ate there one trip and really enjoyed it. We had an early ressie and we were the only ones there! Great service and good food. :)

I'm going there very shortly (a week and a bit), and I will report back!!!

I dined there with a friend last year and we both enjoyed it very much. :thumbsup2

We had 9 for Christmas dinner here in 2004. GREAT service. FABULOUS dinner specials. WONDERFUL atmosphere! I'd eat here again in a minute!!! Enjoy!

its been a few years since our trip (02) but we loved Palios. In fact, we went there twice on our trip, the only restaurant to get a second visit.

Our family ate there last May and really enjoyed it! I had the Shrimp and cannelini bean appetizer which was outstanding. I think I had the grouper or snapper on the menu which was also great. Washed it all down with a Limoncello martini :thumbsup2. I pronounced it a hidden gem of WDW. Give it a try!

I've eaten there twice and it was very good both times. It's rarely crowded and they have a strolling violinist.

Probably the best Italian spot on property. Upscale Italian, relatively "adult friendly", and strolling musicians add to the romantic feel.

Last trip, we were at the Swan & I decided to take a night in. I asked for a Palio menu form the concierge & ordered Palio room service. It was wonderful. Next trip, we will definately be going to Palio.

Thank you everybody :wave2:

All great reviews so far, sounds really nice and we are looking forward to trying this.

Thank you all for your feedback :goodvibes

We used to stay at the Swan a lot. My son was in his teens at the time and did not always wish to dine with us in the parks. He preferred to go his own way(disneyquest), so often we would allow him to do a room service dinner. He always chose Palio. Finally, we caught on and started dining there, or doing room service when we had a long day and didn't feel like going back out. We love it.

We ate there this past Christmas Eve. Although I was expecting a bit more "upscale", the restaurant is very nice and the food is very good. Being it was a holiday they had the fixed menu as well as the regular menu. The veal saltobucco (sp?) was delicious as was the risotto. Everything that we each ordered was very good and the desserts were great. If we are in the mood for Italian food next time we're in disney, we would go back.

Ate dinner at Palio's last week....food was outstanding, along with the service! A definite do again restaurant!
