We are going to be in the "world" in late July. Our party of eight is planning a dinner at Palio's. My question of course is : has anyone eaten there lately and did you enjoy your meal, service, etc.? Thanks in advance

::Bump!::

I'm planning to make a PS here shortly, so I'd love some scoop as well! Does anyone happen to know the phone number to call to make PS reservations at Swan & Dolphin hotels? I'm assuming you don't call the WDW Dining line, since they're not Disney properties.

Thanks!

We only ate there once and it was a few years ago, but we have favorable memories and plan on going back.

When I made my PS for Shula's, I called the toll-free number for the DC. So, I assume you could call the WDW DINE number.

We ate there 4 or 5 years ago. As I remember the service and food were both outstanding. I had rack of lamb, don't see it on the menu anymore. My wife and mother were suprised with their prime rib, 32 oz. roasts!!

Very nice atmosphere, northern Italian cuisine. May try to get there for a late lunch next trip and try the pizza from the brick oven.

Dh and I ate at Palio's last year and really enjoyed it! The food was excellent, as was the service. In addition, the strolling violinist's add a touch of romance.
If you enjoy wine, they have a very good wine selection and when we were there the wine steward was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We will definitely be going back!:bounce:

I agree! We were very impressed when we ate there last year! The strolling musicians are very nice, the food was fantastic, and the prices weren't too bad! Especially since they give a 20% discount with the Disney Club card! :)

We always eat at Palio. Last week we had a great dinner there. It was getting late (8:30) so it was not crowded. The strolling musicians were wonderful as always - played 5 songs for us. My DS was delighted they could play the Star Wars theme!!!!!

My son had the alfredo instead of his usual pizza and a salad - he was very impressed because he loves the alfredo in Italy. I had lobster fettucine - too much for me to finish but very, very good. The bread and wine were wonderful as always.

Go and enjoy - have some songs in mind for the fellas to play!

Glad to hear the great reviews, we have made ps for Palio on our upcoming trip. It will be our first time eating here so we are really looking forward to it.

I like Palio, tho it's been a year since we ate there. Nice menu, excellent wine list, good service and with those strolling musicians, a nice ambiance. Very "adult friendly" as WDW restaurants go--.
WDW-DINE can make PS arrangements at Palio.
