We're in the midst of planning our PS's for our upcoming trip. We've never tried Palio, but we're thinking about it. I'd love to hear reviews, good, bad and indifferent.

Thanks!

Palio is a beautiful restaurant that serves authentic Italian. It is much quieter than many of the restaurants in WDW. The two times that we've dined there the service and food was excellent.

WE really enjoyed Palio. We ate there one night at around 5pm-we wanted to eat outside the parks before going to Epcot. Palio has delicious food, great service and a really nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. :)

MTE. :) The lobster tortellini are *outstanding.* Be aware that portions at Palio are ginormous, though. If you can agree on items, sharing one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert is definitely the way to go. (And you'll still be stuffed. Seriously, huge portions.)

sounds great. I'm adding it to our list. We're going to be "lazy" this trip. Staying at the BC so we want to pick a lot of restaurants within walking distance...which includes all of World Showcase of course. ;)

We're thinking about Cape May, Le Cellier, Kimonos...and for breakfast we must do Fresh and Garden Grove at the Swan.

I love planning thiese meals. It's a wonder I'm not 300 pounds as much I think about food...but believe it or not I'm only a size 8. I have to exercise excessively to support my food addiction. :mickeybar

Yes, another lobster and tortelloni fan. It is definitely enough for two!! Had their pizzas which are also very good and the past trip dh and I split a snapper special that was excellent.

Never had a bad thing here and have always had excellent service. Also love their "Republic of Tea" Teas. (they have these at Fresh too)

I highly recommend Palio. IMO I think it is the best Italian in WDW...ok Mama Melrose is good too but a little different. Palio is a "classy" place but still kid friendly. We've been bringing my 6 yr old dd here since she was 4 and she loves it. There is one waiter who entertains her everytime, his name is Michaele, super nice guy!! Loves to play with the kids (he's a kid at heart).

They also have a strolling guiter player who takes requests :teeth:

Wow, things must have changed at Palio. We ate there two years ago and it wasn't very good. The portions were below average and not very tasty. We didn't like it at all. But, apparantly, things have changed recently. That's good!

Where is this Palio? You do not hear too much about it. :earsgirl:

Palio is at the Swan. It's one of our favorites!! The selections are fantastic, and the Chef's special of the day is always wonderful! There are strolling musicians too!

We've eaten at Palio for the last 3 trips. It's always on our "must-do" list of places to eat. I think it's more Northern Italian. I'm another fan of the lobster tortelloni. Their Caesar Salad is excellent; it is served with the best imported anchovies--- not very salty at all.

Their portions ARE huge!!

I think you will love it! Enjoyy all your planning
