Palio or Spoodles

We're going out in the Epcot area one night for dinner, and are looking for an italian--like dinner. We've never been to either but both menus look good.

Have people found they like one better than the other? Why?

We've eaten at both a couple of times and I would pick Palio's over Spoodles, so would DH and DS(17). The whole atmosphere, food and service is nicer. I think you'll like it! It's on our list when we go back, we will try another restaurant in place of Spoodles for dinner, although Spoodles had a great breakfast buffet!

Been to both, while Spoodles was once on the top of our "Must Do" list it's not up there anymore. While it's "good" now, it's not as great as it once was. We'll go here every now and then but nearly as often. Service has gotten a little slow and the food is not as good as it used to be.

We do however like Palio. Food has been very good as well as the service. Palio is a little more laid back than Spoodles but Palio is still kid friendly.

Blue Zoo is a newer restaurant in the Dolphin I've heard wonderful things about it. Although a little pricier than Spoodles and Palio it is supposed to VERY GOOD!! One of these days I hope we get a chance to try it

But if you're looking for Italian, then PALIO's is your place!

Spoodles no longer has the breakfast buffet, although breakfast is still served. There is an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast skillet still available.

Although we like both, Palio is definitely higher quality food and service (and a little more expensive in our experience).

DS(13) and I always go to Palio - its just a nicer atmosphere, they can handle large groups or tables for 2, service is always good and the food whether you get veal or a personal pizza is wonderful. Don't forget a few tip $ for the strolling musicians!
