A transcript of a prank phone call between Quebec comedy duo "The Masked Avengers" and Alaska governor and Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin, released Saturday.

It was confirmed that it was her by her own handlers.

It was really her. I saw her talking about it in an interview on the news last night. She claims she figured out it was a prank early on in the interview, but when you listen to it, it doesn't sound like she figures it out until the end. Then she and her aide sound very flustered.

She didn't seem to know the name of the Prime Minister of Canada. I'll give her a pass on that, b/c it's possible she didn't understand what the caller was saying. But she was so flighty and odd the entire interview. It was uncomfortable to hear. I felt sorry for her.

You have to blame Palin's handlers for the prank and not her.

If one of your handlers hand you the phone and tell you it is the President of France on the other end, you probably wouldn't question them. Then when when the call goes "odd" on you, you aren't sure what you should do especially when a reliable (supposedly) person hands you the phone.

To me, this is just a classic example of how inept the McCain campaign has been in handling Palin.
