I just wanted to know if this was worth buying. I read about it and it seemed like a good idea(I.E-something to pass the time while waiting in line) Have any of you used this? Did you like it?:Pinkbounc

I bought one last year and loved it, though I wish I would have purchased him at the beginning of the trip. I waited until the last day, so don't know about everything he says/does.

I think he is cute, and you can play with him even away from the parks....worth the money for me!

If you are not sure on purchasing him, rent him for a day for I think it is $8 and then if you like him, you can then purchase him.

I did this last trip as I was solo and wanted some company. He was fun, but didn't want to buy him then so it only ended up costing $8 (+ tax)! :teeth:

Where do you rent him from? We only have one day at Disney this trip. We are going to start out at AK and finish at MGM. Would we be able to rent one at AK and turn him back in at MGM. If my nephew weren't able to let him go at the end of the day, how much would it cost to buy him? Do you have to buy them at the parks or are they available in toy stores, or Walmart. My nephew is going with us and we will be celebrating his birthday, this might be a good gift.

Thanks for the info.

We bought two for our two DD's. The loved the little guys. The games he plays makes it worth it when standing in lines for rides and attractions. Just enough to keep the kids engaged and happy.

Well worth the money in my book!

I rented him at AK (Outfitters Tradepost) and returned him to MGM (The camera place right beyond the turnstiles). He is $60 plus tax to buy. If you rent, then decide to buy, the day's rental is included in the $60.

Hope this helps! :teeth:

Thanks so much Travelin' Tigger! We may just skip this. If we rent it, I know at the end of the day my nephew will want to take it home, but $60 is kind of steep for a stuffed Mickey, even if he does talk.

DD has one too, but I don't remember the games. I just remember all of the comments, jokes and info. Tell me more about the games.

I think Pal Mickey is cute and fun (even though I didn't know about the games). :) He sits on DD's bed and he will go back to WDW with us in October.

If you squeeze both of his hands he'll play a couple of different games. One is about characters and the other is about places in the parks. Pretty basic but enough for my DD's, 6 and 4. It still works even if you're not in the parks. My kids play with them every week or so.
