Pal Mickey????

Have the people that have bought one of these been happy with it??? We have a 6 year old daughter that I think might enjoy it>>>

Uhh...I'm 33 and fell in love with him. My DH, 36, also fell in love with him. We have no children. We refused to step into the 4 parks without him.

But maybe that's just me.

I have written several trip reports so far and Pal Mickey is one of the main characters. If you want to learn more about him, I suggest you read a few of my posts.

I bought one for my grandkids (6½ & 8) last summer, they liked him, but didn't want to carry him around ... so be warned you may be the one toting Mickey around ... didn't bother me ... it was better than all the naked baby dolls I used to carry for their mom

DH (46) and I (43) love our Pal Mickey. We bought him during our September trip and found him quite informative through out the parks. He does repeat stuff, though, but that wasn't a big problem for us.

We forgot to take him on our December trip. It wasn't the same without him, so we'll be sure he's the first one in Traveller when we head out for our return trip in May.

Love my Pal Mickey. Being a solo visitor he can be great company. I go often and probably have heard every joke but still smile at them.
For carrying him, I found the clip not that effective. So I use a bottle lanyard (the ones they sell at each park), place the string end around head. And know for sure he will not come loose, fall off, or get lost. The clip on waistband I heard works ok. But I tried it on my handbag strap in several places and directions and each time the clip did not hold. Plus having PM on the bottle lanyard I can easily pull him up to my ear to listen to as needed

I have no kids and bought PM just for me, an adult that never wants to grow up or out of the Disney magic.

I visit often and have a friend that also has a PM. So we just get a stereo effect.

IMO adults needs a Pal Mickey for the kid in them.
