Hi all, :) This is my first post but I`ve been a lurker for a while.

I`m going on a trip to WDW soon and I thought I might save some cash by buying a Pal Mickey before I go.

I saw one on the UK ebay for £20.99 with four days still to go in the auction.

Is this a good and fair price?

Should I bid now or wait?

Thanks,

Welcome to the Dis :)

im not sure about pal mickey, we could not be bothered to carry it around so its never appealed to us.

Hi, not sure if it's a good price or not but just to say that they're not making Pal Mickey anymore so even though he'll still work at the old rides the information isn't being updated anymore so any new stuff/rides won't be on there.

Hope that helps :)

Doesn't sound like a great price to me. As Jo says since they've stopped making them it doesn't have the use that it once had.

TBH I carried mine around for a couple of times when I first bought him. After a few days the little guy stayed in the hotel room.

welcome to the boards :)

i have a pal mickey and really like him (i'm in my 20s!!) - he's on a lanyard so doesn't really bother us to carry him around the parks.. he tells cute jokes and has some fun facts to say too.

i would say that the £20.99 on ebay is a good price, i have been looking to buy the other costumes for him on there & and the Pal's on the usa site are selling for up to $178!!

one thing to note is to take spare AA batteries with you.. our Pal got low on power one day, started to talk about MK while we were in AK.. then he started shaking and 'hicupping'.. luckily some Cast Members in a shop nearby were able to help us, and change his batteries!! ;)

while he still works in wdw i will still take him :lovestruc

Hi :) I bought a Pal Mickey last time and he was no trouble to take round the parks with us. It's a shame they are no longer making him, I loved buying him different costumes! :rotfl:

He cost either $60 or $65+tax new so if he's in excellent condition I don't think that's a bad price.

I always set myself a limit as to how much I will bid for something on ebay then go in at the last 30 seconds. Good luck if you decide to bid. :wizard:

Hi all, :-)

Thanks for your help and advice, I`m sure he`s lots of fun as a talking toy outside the parks.
