But be sure to get the newer version with the Tuxedo. The old version is known to be hard to hear and cannot get all the new info. on the newer rides.

Is that true, I know he is hard to hear, but does he get all the new info. What info does he miss, I have the old version and I am plannng on taking him back with us in Aug.

I just wanted to add how much our DD loved Pal Mickey She carried him everywhere. Once We forgot it in the morning and she was so upset so when we went back for a swim we got him. There was a time though when I was going to kill Pal Mickey. WE went past Winnie the Pooh and Dear Mickey wanted to ride it. My DD would not rest until Mickey rode on . So we waited in line the very long line I might add! That day I was not too pleased with Mickey but I have forgiven him and plan to take him this trip and get the new one also.

Oh and I forgot to ask I heard a while back that they were going to come out with other characters like Pal Minnie and Goofy. Has anyone heard of this?

Yes, there are many other threads about Pal Mickey here discussing this.

The new Tuxedo Pal Mickey has:
1.) Louder volume
2.) A carrying Lanyard
3.) Has alot more jokes and games
4.) Gets info on the new attractions like Expedition Everest, Soarin' that the old one cannot get.

I'm 23 and my DFH bought me a Pal Mickey on our last trip and I LOVE HIM! He is so much fun!

New PM lanyard is poorly designed I think...substitute with the free black lanyards you get with your Magical Express free pin coupon and PM will be much more secure and better placed....

I loved my pal mickey. I let a 5 year old borrow it for his trip to Disney and never got it back......is it tacky to ask for it back? Maybe I'll just buy a new one

I sort of know what PM is.. but could somebody explain to me exactly what he does? We are going with 2 17 yr olds, and 2 15 yr olds all girls........would it be something they might like?
