Okay! So you are going to be sick of me!! :teeth: What do ya'll think of Pal Mickey and does anyone know how much he is. It sounds pretty intriguing, but wondered if he is worth it!! :confused3

Thanks Again!!

I don't have one, but am still trying to decide if I should get one for ds for our next trip. From what I remember, the new one costs about $65 (they don't offer the daily rental anymore..I don't think). You can try to get the older version off of e-bay, etc., but I have had no luck finding one for less than $40 plus shipping.

He's gotten a lot of mixed reviews. Some people love him, and have gotten tons of valuable information using him. Others complain about not being able to hear him and that it's a pain carrying him around all day...and end up leaving him in the rooms.

If you do a search here, I'm sure you'll find tons of threads with the various opinions.

I have a while before I have to decide. I'd hate to spend that much money if my ds won't really use it.

My DD just had to have one, so I bought one two trips ago. She does bring him into the park, but he usually ends up in the stroller. My DD is 11, so she does not really mind carrying him for awhile. She likes the little jokes, & the games. Occassionally she will play with him at home, but we do bring him on all of our trips. He has told us when there were short lines, & when the parades are about to start.

We bought the old one from DisneyOutlet last year, cheap around $20, he was fun last week. Lots of info and he plays games so when the kids are in line they played with him and his corny jokes are funny. We were very happy to have him all week

He is a good source of info, but he slowed us down because nobody wanted to carry him around the parks. The last time we experienced him first hand was back in 2003 so I don't know how much he costs these days.

We bought one a couple years ago...one of the original ones at our resort. It cost around $50.00. We thought he was really cute at first--he reminds you when parades and shows are. I thought DS2 would like it but I think he is still too young for it. The worse part about him, IMO, is that after carrying it around all day, by night nobody wants to carry him so like a pp said he usually got tossed in the stroller. However, his corny jokes usually keep us entertained for a little while, while waiting in line. I don't regret buying him and I will probably always take him back with us!
