I bought a Pal Mickey a few years ago, for um my son.. yeah, well I wasn't PG yet but I knew a future child would enjoy one :rolleyes1

Anyway, he'll be almost 3 for out Oct trip and I'm thinking he may enjoy Pal Mickey in the parks - anyone have a toddler that loves/uses Pal Mickey? I think I'll get him out and put him in game mode to see what he thinks of him.

I bought one last year for our trip with a 4 & 2 yr old. We used it once in the parks and then decided it was too much to carry around. The kids weren't really that interested in it in the parks. They did like playing with it at home though.

It was a bust for my then 3yo, too. Too much to carry, and he had a hard time hearing Mickey talk in the parks with all the other noise and activity going on.

We bought one for our 22 month old DS last year and he loved it!! When we met Mickey at MK he walked up and squeezed his hand expecting him to talk like Pal Mickey does!! :) We had a backpack with us and just attached him to it with the clip, so he wasn't that cumbersome. He was a good distraction when DS got cranky and he helped us locate some characters that we wouldn't have found otherwise.

We got a PM 3 years ago.

our kids 4 and 6 now would use PM in the parks a little bit but were typically tired of caring him around by mid-day. However, they loved playing with him back in the room.

Our DS has had his since he was 14 months and loves it. He will be 3 in September :)

I debated the last 2 trips about getting (DD was 2 and 3), but I couldn;t justify the price of it. Maybe someday. I think I wanted it more thananyone else would, but I didn;t want to be stuck carrying one more thing around too.

I second that
:woohoo:

That's what I'm thinking. I'll let DS play with him at home for a bit and see what the thinks then I'll bring it along and give it a try. If he doesn't care about it or doesn't understand it then it stays in the resort, no harm done.
