Pal Mickey Updates?

I am hoping to find out where to go in each park to update my old version Pal Mickey. I know he will update some when you fo through the entrance, but I read they will add the new ride info at certain stores. Anyone know? And if he updates, will I need to take him in at every park or would one update do him?

every park - also in some places since his memory is not as big as the new ones - he may need to be in the area of the ride????
