Pal Mickey "ROCKS"

I bought a pal mickey for our trip to WDW and we loved it.For those of you who don't know what pal mickey is it is a interactive personal tour guide while your in the parks. It tell giggles and shakes when it has something to tell you. It will let you know what has the shortest line and inside info about the buildings, fun info about where you are in the parks and helps entertain you and tell you jokes while waiting in line.. I must admit I bought it for my 3 year old but I ended up using it the whole time!! He wasn't that interested in it but I thought is was great!! The only draw back is it is expensive $60 but you can use it year after year because of the microchip.

Rapisano, I've been thinking about getting a Pal Mickey when we take dgd for her 1st visit in April '08. Can you hear Mickey in a crowd? Does he sound off in a ride where it may be a distraction for other guests? Any info would be appreciated.

Chiming in here, if you don't mind! Pal Mickey is great , have him for DD8. He shakes (vibrates) when entering different lands(frontierland, adventureland) or countries (mexico, canada). He tells jokes about wshere you are. DD is still playing with it, at home with his questions and answers and jokes! We have him all ready to go in August. We have different outfits for each park! LOl.. a safari outfit for animal kingdom. A pin trading outfit. . He is so much fun and not annoying. HTH Robin!

My DH husband and I bought one when we went to WDW in 2005 and loved it and we went back in 2006 because they had updated. We now have to two of them but enjoyed them on the trip.

In total agreement as my Pal and I tour the parks a few times each year and he has quite an extensive wardrobe.

There is a group of Pal folks in the Just For Board, under DiSigns...the top thread is a Pal Mickey Adventure's thread - LOTS of PAL folks there sharing their trip reports, etc.

Hope to see you and your PALs in the parks sometime! My Pal has his own pin lanyard because he trades pins too!
