PAL Mickey ?? Kids Want .. Is It Worth It?

Hello Everyone,

We are leaving in 2 days if this lovely snow of 10 12" storm doesn't trap us alive.
My kids saw the PAL Mickey on Disney.com .
It says it tells wait times,interacts with attractions,and tells jokes.
Is this easy to use??
How much does it cost??
Where can I het it at??
Is it worth it??

I believe it's about $60. It's available at most gift shops at the resorts and parks. It's also available at WOD in DTD.

It's really cute and I like it but my DDs got sick of carrying it around.

I think my 8 year old said she will bring it again on our next trip though so we'll see!

We have two of them. Now I did purchase it when they first came out and got a discount (can't remember if it was because of DVC or what). Then my oldest DD fell so in love with it SHE bought one.

My girls are 11 and 16 and still take them to the parks. They are a lot of fun and wonderful for keeping the boredom/frustration from setting in while waiting in a long line or for a parade.

Only discount I know of is the World of Disney with the AP discount.

Also, they do sometimes sell them on Ebay.

Didnt they stop selling the pal mickeys until may 5th for the new ones?
I had a pal mickey and gave it to my nephew(he is going to disney same time as I am, but seperate) so I figured I would just get another one, but heard they didnt sell them anymore and won't until the 5th of May.

I sold mine on eBay for $50 with free shipping. That's because I want the new version that comes out this May. The new one that comes out in May is an upgraded model and has a different 50th anniversary outfit. If you are a passholder, they will give you a free t-shirt for him. -Steph
