Pal Mickey Idea......

Since I will be at WDW the middle of next month I bought 2 Pal Mickey's for $13.99. I will be there from 10-12 thru 10-16-2005. If someone is going to be there starting the day that we leave I would be willing to "gift" them one of my Pal Mickey's. They are still in the box right now. I plan on taking one out the day we leave. Not sure if this is a good idea or not. I figure it is a good way to spread some magic to another family/group.

Okay here is the way I figure it would work. Someone could send me a PM and let me know that they are interested. We could then decide on a place to meet. Then I would "gift" the Pal Mickey to them. In return they would do the same when they leave. It would definitely have to be on the honor system. I have 2 Pal Mickey's and am more than willing to share with other's on here. Anyone think this will work? The idea just came to me today while I was talking with a friend at lunch today about our upcoming trip.....

I think it's a great idea. Matter of fact they did have something close to this going on over on the disablity's board...a pal mickey swap...where they would in the end donate the pal mickeys to give kids the world....after so many swaps. But over there everyone in the swap pitched in and purchased the Pal. That's a VERY nice offer for you to buy him and spread the magic.

I'd love to participate...but we don't arrive until 10/19.

I do know from the pal mickey swap on the other board...there were times where the swap dates didn't match up and they found that most of the WDW resorts were more than happy to "hold" a package for an upcomming guest (as long as it wasn't to long).

I hope your idea works.
