Sadly the zoo was only open until 4:30pm and we didn't make it.

We got into the Kiss Tower, you climb inside and sit down inside the viewing tower and raises into the air and it rotates. I laid in one of the Hershey kiss shaped windows that juts out and had my picture taken, the lines are the lights below me on the ground.

It looks like Brooksie had a great time at Hershey Park. This does not surprise me as all of the Brooks Family loves Hershey Park and Hershey High Meadow Campground. :thumbsup2 Vicki, they have a campground there too. It is pretty small, but very close to the park, factory tour and the botanical gardens. They provide free transportation too. :cool1:

Hershey is about 9 hours from us.

Deb are you sure it is 9 hours, cause I had looked it up before and it would only take me a little over 6 hours to get to where you live and Hershey is about 45 minutes from here. I guess if you get stuck in traffic or make lots of stops or it would take that long.

I was worn out and slept the whole way home and had sweet dreams of chocolate.

We've driven to Hershey twice and we had our camper both times. It took us about 9 hours. We tend to drive slower and may not take the shortest route with the camper. In a car I'm sure we would cut some time off.

Deb

Love the pictures Becky - although I have to ask... are you sure that wasn't Postman Pat rather than Stan?? http://www.postmanpat.com/
You are correct, for some reason I thought it was Stan, probably because it rhymes and makes more sense in my mind for it to rhyme. The name wasn't on the pics as I cut it off and I had neverheard of this postmas before.

I forgot about the camper. But that does make sense you would drive slower.

I checked out the Christmas tree and decided I wanted to pose in front of it. I loved watching all of the lights flash. I even found Nemo.

He's very famous over here - I think he's an english cartoon character - which is why I wondered if it wasn't actually Pat - but it looks just like him! I grew up on Postman Pat (the song goes, Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat - there's the rhyme :) )

PS - love the tree - and nemo - I have that Mickey tangled in lights too :)

I helped to construct a gingerbread house, they still haven't let me try any of it yet either.:guilty: But they told me I may gladly have some once they break it apart.

I spent New Year's Eve preparing by making a paper hat and I also had to find a noisemaker. As I was watching Times Square and everyone had one. I enjoyed watching the ball drop.

I'm glad that Brooksie is having so much fun. It is great to see all the photos. I'm not sure that he'll ever want to come home with all the excitement that he is getting.

Deb

I spent some time with Becky's duck Elias.

I also borrowed his clothing, Becky told me the pants would be too big but I insisted on trying them on anyways. Next time I think I will listen.
DSC07114.jpg

Why did I borrow his clothing???:confused3 :confused3 So I can be a train conductor. But first I had to check the train out

Becky, I'm loving all the pictures! He looks like he is having so much fun with you. Thanks for being such a great hostess!

I first checked out the controls and learned what they all do.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the pictures. I think the oldest boy would have instigated it in your house! :rotfl2:
