Baloo,

If you could have seen Steffy whenever I would plan something else for Thomas. She would do the silent "Oh for Pete's sake" roll of her eyes.
I still have about 10 pictures to share and a few more outfits for this winter.
Just want to spread them out a bit.

The cockpit... now that was a coup!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

You all would not believe how many people ask us about Pal when we take him out and about....then I get to tell them all about my friends.

Denise-that is such a cool pic from dinner!!

Monday dawned with my sleeping late. I was really tired from traveling all day Sunday. My sister took pity on me and let me just sleep. Then I took her shopping and we did errands.
After supper she and I took Thomas to pick our Nephew up from Karate class. Sensei Bill Benthall was quite taken with Thomas' headband and agreed to have his picture taken with him.

Sensei, our nephew Eric, Thomas, and his friend Andrew.

Then Sensei thought of this picture.

We did not have time to make a belt for Thomas

I have arrived in Virginia, and boy was it hot in that box! Elin opened me when she got home from work and the first thing I saw was her calendar. It scared me a little bit until she explained it was for her DH, Bob, not me!

IMG_1178.jpg

Then, Kristin, my new "sister" took me outside for a little stroll. We looked at Elin's car:

and their mailbox:

Finally we went back inside the house and Elin introduced me to a new Pal for me! My very own Pal Mickey, who I am calling "TT" which is short for "Tiny Tom!" He has little magnets in his hands and feet and I hope they don't hurt me!

IMG_1181.jpg

Then I got to meet Punxsutawney Phil! Well, it is not REALLY Phil, but since we are not going to Pennsylvania on this trip it is as close as I am going to get!

IMG_1185.jpg

I am SO excited! Tomorrow morning I am going to work with Elin and I get to sing and play the piano all day long.

Terry - can I make MTM a T-shirt using one of the ones in his backpack? Do you care which color I use?

Also, is it possible to put these shirts on him backwards? If so, it occurred to me that we could put designs on the flip side side of a T-shirt that already has something on it. Might make the shirts last longer. Just a thought!

Elin,
I love the pictures. They are really good and you tell Thomas' story very well.

Elin,

Use any color you want. I can always get more. I found them at Michaels and A C Moore.

Sounds good to me

When we first met up at the Double Tree Inn, we were all taking pictures of Thomas, Brooksie and Stephanie's original Pal Mickey, you would have thought there was some big celeberty there :rotfl:
But wait, they were :rotfl2:

TT and I were up really early this morning to get ready to go to Yamaha Music School with Elin. We got dressed and sat on her book bag until she was FINALLY ready!

IMG_1204.jpg

When we go to the school, I got to play all the pianos and keyboards!

IMG_1216.jpg

IMG_1209.jpg

And I got to show off my new T-shirt that says I am a "Guest Artist" at Elin's school. I hope I played OK!

IMG_1219.jpg

Then the children all came to classes and we sang, and played the piano and wrote neat songs. These kids are really good!

I had so much fun today. :goodvibes

On July 1st Olivia and PM went to a home depot Kids workshop. Grandma took them so I have no piics of them their. I took this Pic when I got home from work that night.

Ignore the messy house.

Today was really exciting. I got to go to George Washington's Boyhood Home, Ferry Farm. My new sister, Kristin, works there in the summer and Elin said I could go to work with her today. TT was tired from all the excitement yesterday so he stayed home with Button, the dog. :goodvibes

IMG_1241.jpg

When we walked into the first display area there was a turkey that used to live nearby. I was not expecting to see this!

IMG_1235.jpg

But after Kristin introduced me to him I discovered he was not such a bad bird!

IMG_1237.jpg

I got to sit on George Washington's shoulder and also helped him survey some stuff. I don't know exactly what we did because we did not move around very much.

IMG_1240.jpg

IMG_1239.jpg

Then I helped answer phones and learned how to run the cash register when people came to tour the grounds.

IMG_1232.jpg

IMG_1233.jpg

My favorite part of the day was when Kristin and her co-worker Amber taught me how to play checkers with corn cob slices! I never knew that colonial children did that before. Wow! I learned a lot today too.

Here is the picture of when Andy arrived at our house on 6/29/06

How adorable is your little one! What a cutie...

On the 4th of July we were at my parents. The kids played in the water and road their truck and 4 wheeler.

Andy decided he wanted to ride the 4 wheeler too, since he could not go in the water even though it was very hot he was a good boy.

Elin,

Love, love the pictures.
Don't you find that it is fun taking the pictures and thinking of what to say for them?

It sure is. And Kristin came home from work all excited to show me what she had been doing with Thomas today too. Tomorrow he is going to work with her again, this time to Kenmore Plantation. This was the home of Betty Washington Lewis, George's sister. It is a gorgeous home which is under extensive renovation. But MTM will be spending a good bit of time in the kitchen with Kristin awaiting children for the family tours. We tried to find him a tri-cornered hat to wear tomorrow as Kristin will be in colonial costume all day long. We did not have any luck though. :guilty:

More to report tomorrow night!
