we'll be heading down to see the mouse this thursday (the 25th). does anyone know if the discount is still available for pal mickey? we'll be staying at BWV and i was hoping to pick one up for fun.

"Disney Vacation Club Members receive a one-day complimentary rental of Pal Mickey through September 30, 2003! Vouchers will be in your Welcome Home check-in folder at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts or available at the Front Desk of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. we were there in aug. and even though he was very cute, only the person that was holding him could hear him talk. so, needless to say, mickey did not make the trip home with us. but it was fun to get him free for the day

I was able to apply the cost of my free day coupon to the purchase of a Bad Joke Mickey at BCV in July .

We bought one last month during our visit. It was well worth the money - and thrill of finding the lots of little hiden things around the park

Like outside the Indiana Jones show - pull the rope going down into the barrel - on the left side of the entrance - I think thats were it was.

You get the coupon in your Welcome Home packet. You get to keep him until noon the day after you rent him. You have to put a $55 deposit on your credit card, and it's removed when you return it. We did it all at the store at the Beach Club.

We decided not to purchase him because he mostly told us stuff we knew or didn't need (i.e. where characters were). We enjoyed him, but knew we'd not use him.
