Whew....ok...now for my question. What is on Pal Mickey::MickeyMo that attaches him to the clip thingie that comes with him??? I'm asking because I know from reading that most people find other ways of attaching him to themselves....many talk about a water bottle strap (is this sold at the parks???)....but on my "fanny pack", there is what I call a "C-clip"...the kinda thing on the end of a dog leash....can that attach securely to Pal Mickey???::MickeyMo

Wowza, am I ever excited to go on this trip! LOL This is the first vacation with my boyfriend Bill and I haven't been to Disney in about 20 years! I'm in the middle of yucky finals week in school and all I can think about is MICKEY!!! LOL (I thought college sounded like a good idea at 30 years old....what was I thinking????) I've never stayed on Disney property so we're staying at POFQ for 8 nights. Last year, I was at Universal Studios Orlando for 2 days mid-week at the same time of the year and it was WONDERFUL....hardly any crowds! The longest line we waited in was for the Spiderman ride....about 30-45 mins. Everything else was under 15 mins!.....Will the Disney parks be similar or is that too much to hope for?

Thanks for any and all advice!!!

Pal Mickey has a stitched loop on his back (kind of like a thick belt loop). The clip that comes with him is pretty cheap and as others have said you're probably better off finding another way to clip him. IMO your c-clip would be the ideal thing to clip him to. The only problem will be hearing him over the ambient noise. I would think that the c-clip would be easy enough to unclip him from, so that shouldn't be a problem.

You could also try the water bottle strap, but it would go around his neck. Poor Mickey!

I felt the same pain about putting the strap around Mickeys' neck, so I solved it by putting the bottle strap under his arms and around his chest instead :) It worked great for my 6 year old!

I think attaching and unattaching would be a pain in the you know what. It was very easy to lift him to our ears when he was "on the strap" and quickly put him down again w/o any fumbling. JMHO
