Pal Mickey: Check him or carry him on?

Hello all! Please be kind if this is a stupid question.

Pal Mickey surprised my boyfriend this xmas with a trip to WDW and we are leaving in less then a week!

With the heightened security and all the electronics on him I am concerned that he may give us a hard time through the airport check points. Has anyone who has travled with him have any suggestions on if we should pack him or carry him on the plane?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts. All of your suggestions have been priceless to me with the trip planning!

I would take him in the carry on. Rule of thumb: pack NOTHING of value in your check in luggage.

Hi,
I got a Pal Mickey for Christmas, while we were there. I carried him with me and had no trouble with security. Enjoy your "Pal". He's a lot of fun and gave some great info while in the parks.

I packed him in my carry on just a few weeks ago and had no problems. As a matter of fact we played games with him while we were sitting in the airport! He was good entertainment! I loved him in the parks, make sure you carry him where you can feel him shake!
