My daughter just outgrew her Minnie Mouse sparkly yellow heels that go with the costume. They don't seem to make them in the next larger size. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with spray painting or somehow painting shoes? If I find a pair of low heels that fit her, can I paint them and then glitter them to look like the real thing?

Lol... I asked this question around 11 years ago when planning my wedding! I got some strange looks inquiring about shoe paint at the craft store. I just bought craft paint (acrylic Iirc) and hoped for the best (found shoes I liked at a second hand store). I wanted gold shoes so I bought a gold metallic paint and it worked perfectly! I'm not sure exactly the look your going for but maybe a bright yellow acrylic paint, there may even be paint with glitter already in it. Another option could be glueing little yellow crystals (cheap ones not Swarovski). Good luck!

Edit: joann has some made by Martha! http://www.joann.com/martha-stewart...itter-acrylic-craft-paint/11386414.html#close

Thank you so much! This will be great! We will be hitting up our favorite thrift store seeking the perfect shoe to paint.
