Painting kitchen cabinets?

Yes, we painted... and I was in too much of a hurry to see the outcome that I talked DBF out of sanding OR priming I'm very impatient. But, the color was Olympic Black Magic, flat enamel. I was told you HAVE to have flat paint...

I think we'll have to sand at least. Those cabinets are very shiny!
