I saw this when it originally aired a couple of weeks ago, although I don't remember the first special because we didn't have cable then.

It's amazing what these girls are willing to put up with because it's what their MOTHER wants. The makeup, the hair, the costumes..it's just beyond belief what they do to these girls. It's not something I could ever imagine wanting for myself or my daughter (if I had one).

That Asia girl cannot carry a tune in a bucket, and the songs she sings seem very inappropriate. I did one pageant when I was 16 for fun, and you lost points if you were too made up or had inappropriate songs/dress, etc. I don't know if this is the norm.

That does not look like fun at all. Her hair just looks unnatural, and the entire time she was singing I wanted to throw something at the TV. Did you hear that blonde song she did? The sad thing is I'm not so sure that she realizes it's just a song. Gag.

The Brooke girl seems much more down to earth, probably because she got out of it.

It was good to see that Brooke quit the scene and it was good to see her mom and grandma laugh at themselves.

Asia definitely can't carry a tune. Hope they got their money back for the voice lessons.
