Is there a way to get reserved or preferred seating for Paint the Night? We will be in the park Oct 20-22nd and love a good parade, but we hate the fight over staking out a spot. When we go for Christmas we always do the Holiday tour, just for the parade seating, we also always used to pay for Fantasmic desert seating (so bummed they changed this) but I am having no luck finding anything like that for this time of year.

Any of you know of a way to do this? We are willing to fork over the Disney secret pass (think money) for this, but I still haven't found anything.......

VIP tours will get access to seating areas. You could do the tour, and have seating to the parade, and watch fireworks from there, if they are doing fireworks during the week. Fantasmic! is usually only done on Fri-Sun during that time frame. Be aware that Mickey's Halloween Party will be on Oct 22. So, you might do your tour on the 20 or 21.

Thanks for the reply Malcon, and I did look into that. However, even though I am willing to pay for the extra of the preferred seating, the VIP tour is a little too steep for even me. At $4OO an hour and a 6 hour minimum, I can't justify $2400 just to get a good seat for the parade. I was hoping there might be a tour, or dining option that had preferred seating as a perk..... It doesn't look like there is.

Good decision, Iwanthony, the parade is good, but not worth the price of a VIP tour. What do you mean by "Disney secret pass"?

I was just trying to be funny. It seems that the magic word with Disney is never just please, it's also fork over more money. :rotfl2:

If seating for the parade came with one of the tours, I'd probably do the tour. The one time we did the Holiday Tour we loved the seating. If they added seating for PTN to the Happy Haunts tour, I'd do that. That's a whole different level of commitment than the cost of a VIP tour.

Unfortunately, the only way to get preferred seating to PTN and the Fireworks is to pay for a VIP Tour.
If you do not want to wait that long, try and watch it by IASW.
