If there's a thread that I couldn't find for this, please point me in the right direction.

Friends of mine that Im helping plan their trip for will be in DCA on Monday, May 13th. As of right now it shows PtN @ 8:50p and WoC @ 9p. Is it feasible to see both or a place that you can go for a spot that can see both? This will be the only night they will be at DCA to watch (no park hoppers or secondary evening options).

They are staying at Paradise Pier Hotel, but only have a Standard View Room reservation so the option to watch from their hotel doesn't seem to be an option unless you have a Park View room from what Ive researched.

Any suggestions to see both, or recommend one over the other? She has an almost DS3 and DS5

Where are you seeing this? The DLR website only shows the entertainment schedule out to April 26th. There has been no official word on a return date for PTN, although many people are hoping for this parade to return soon. This would make the choice easy for your friends -- WOC (lately showing at 10 pm) it is! Have them study the first post in the World of Color Superthread for important information on viewing this show.

I believe touringplans is culprit. They never removed paint the night, or Pixar playparade for that matter from their calendars.

Has it been confirmed that PTN is returning? Absolutely love that parade and would love to see it again.

Only go based on the official disneyland website. I would tentatively plan on a WOC but not PTN parade. It ended running last November indefinitely.

I think that if PTN was coming back by May, they’d be casting for it by now. And it seems unlikely that they’d bring it back at an off-peak time - after spring break but before summer... I’d actually have recommended PTN over WOC with kids those ages if a person had to choose, but looks like WOC it will be!

I’m hoping Paint comes back this summer, but I’d guess Memorial Day... or maybe May 31.

Chalk up another one under the heading "Crowd Calendars Are Notoriously Unreliable at DLR." Good thing the OP double checked here.

And... if an official return date had been announced, it would be all over this board!

Thanks and yes Touring Plan is the culprit. I don't follow Disneyland news as much as World so I had no idea. I'm so glad I posted on here now!

Thanks again

Oddly enough, we haven't yet experienced what it'll be like at DCA with both WOC and PtN running. It was supposed to happen last summer, but WOC broke. Now WOC is back, but PtN is gone. So who knows how it'll work?
