For all you paint experts...
is it possible to darken paint once it's already mixed?
The painter is coming tomorrow to paint the house, but I'm worried the main color I picked is going to be too light.
I painted a sample on the wall of the next darker color on the same color strip and I thought it would be too dark, so I went with the next lightest. Now I'm worried I made the wrong choice.
So is it possible to go from a lighter to the next darker shade on the same color strip? Is it a matter of just adding 2 squirts of black (or whatever) rather than the 1 in the lighter color or is that simplifying it way too much?
Anyone know? Thanks!
(BTW, he already bought the paint but he hasn't dropped it off yet.)
