Paint brushes?

I found a thread somewhere on here, not sure how old it was, but the person says they hide 5 paint brushes on Tom Sawyer island each day and if you find one you get to go directly to the front of the line on Splash and Big Thunder Mtns. I have never read anything about this nor have I ever heard of it in my years of going to DW. Anyone else a little suspicious of this?

Believe it or not it is true (At least when we went at Christmas last year it was). On the first couple of trips over to Tom Sawyer Island they announce that they are having a scavenger hunt, and that white paint brushes have been hidden throughout the island. My daughters found one, and we got a group fast pass for our entire party (9 people) for one ride on Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain. Worked just like a regular fast pass, except it was for the whole group.

You need to be on the first boat across to have a good shot at getting one.
