Does anyone use the painless hot waxing beads? If so what brand and what type of wax machine do you have? My DD has put this on her Christmas list. She wants it for her underarms. Just trying to get some info and feedback on a good one to get and budget friendly. I trust my Dis family recommendations :)

They are not painless. Nope.

BUT they are less painful than normal waxing in my experience.

For a warmer you don’t need anything fancy, I just bought a cheap wax warmer from sally beauty supply ( this is the one I have: http://www.sallybeauty.com/honee-wa...html?list=Search_Results#q=Wax+wArmer&start=1 )

As for the wax beads, I buy mine off amazon but I’ve used a few brands and there doesn’t seem to be much difference. I usually buy these ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018HVVA6Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lvImAbC29EXX7 )

I found this one. I will have to look s through the reviews. I want to find some of the scented beads to order for future use.

How long will that bag last you? My DD mostly wants it for underarms but I'm sure she will use it for lets too-eventually

I use an epilator - a little pain since it pulls it out at the root but the results last a lot longer :)

It looks small when you get it and when it melts down but it’s actually a fair amount. For me I can do my legs about 10 times with one bag. And they more you do it, the slower the hair seems to grow back - in my experience anyway

I can't believe I never heard of this. Google has informed me enough I want to give it a go but reviews of the different ones on the market are confusing me, any particular one you recommend?

The original one was Epilady. I still remember those commercials amd keep it at work. The one I use now is Philips Norelco satinelle. If I could figure out how to upload pictures I would. But let me see if I can find it on amazon.

Mine is similar to this:
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Satinelle-Essential-HP6401-Epilator/dp/B00742JW8S

Also, I get the one with the cord.

Frist of all the skin under your arms is so sensitive... applying hot wax or warm wax to anything part of your body is going to hurt ripping hair out by the root...

Has she ever had anything waxed, before? before I would dive into this I would make sure she understands its going to hurt some... and maybe take her to have her eye brows waxed or even her underarms and see how it goes from there...

Yes, he get her underarms done at the nail salon. They use the hot wax with strips. She's fine with it. She has thick hair so the wax with strips hurt so she should be able to handle the bead wax
