Has anyone ever experienced sharp burning pain on one side after a C-section that will not go away? It has been 10 weeks after the surgery and I still have a difficult time standing up, walking, lifting my baby. I also hurt every time I sneeze, cough, or laugh. I can't lay on my right side at all because the pain becomes unbearable. I am also numb on the outside in one place but anywhere else in the area is painful to touch.
I am so miserable and I am getting frustrated being in pain all day. The Doctor thinks a nerve may have been compressed during surgery.

Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if it ever went away!

I did have similar pain. Mine was on on side of my incision. Any sudden movement and I would get a burning pain. My Dr said it was becaise the inside stiches were pulled closed on that side. It did go away but I honestly can't remember when. Make sure you have no swelling or redness around that area, and no fluid. I also dewveloped an infecrion after one. (I had three) It was unrelated to this pain though. If you are seriously uncomfortable please call your doctor just to be safe.

I will say that my second and third were a bit harder to recover from than the first. Hope you feel better soon, and congratulations!

I had pain like that too - it did go away! My little one is 4 months old now, and I'm back to normal!
