Paid In Full..

I am so excited I called and paid my room in full for my May trip ~ Even though It was room only and I could have paid it at Check in I wanted to make sure everything was taken care of before we arrived. The only thing I need now is spending money. Which I will put half down on the room when i check in to get Charging Privilages.

I get to do my Paid in Full Dance!

I usually pay my bill a month and a half in advance. That way, the payment posts to my Disney Visa and I get the rewards points to spend on that trip. Nothing like using Disney to get a couple of extra spending bucks at Disney!

Oooh, that's a good idea. You make me rethink my decision to pay it off when I get there. If I charge it ahead of time on the AMEX, that's more rewards points I can earn and perhaps find ways to redeem for a rental car or something.

Only $1000 more to go and ours will be paid off too! I love getting it paid off as early as possible, that gives me more time to save extra fun money!

We do the same thing!!! CMs seem happy at check in also!! I didn't know you could give them extra money and use your key to charge. That seems like a GREAT idea so you don't have to carry cash around!!! How does that work??? You just give them the money at check in???

My paycheck gets automatically deposited in my checking account and I am the type that likes to spend spend spend. But i have bills that don't stop coming in. So when i go on vacation to WDW I don't like to have my card have any holds on it as I don't want to tie up bill money.

Last May when I went to WDW I was staying at Ft Wilderness Cabins I checked in I paid for the room, and I gave them $500 extra in Travellers checks to put on my key card. They used it as a deposit and I had the ability to charge to the room. I didn't run low and at check out they gave me the money i didn't spend back. They did say that if i ran low I could come back and put more money on the card.

I plan on doing this again this year so that I don't have to carry as much around with me and I will be able to not worry about my debit card being tied up.

Great feeling isnt it ? Our rooms are taken care of as this is going to be our first trip as DVC members. Now we are saving up and I am working as many extra hours as I can to buy our APS.
