Paging Mr. Eddie Bauer

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
thanks so much for the laugh, Rick!!!!!

See ... we all turn into our parents...whether we like it or not!

My DD was about 7 and she asked me if she was going to look like me when she grew up. I told her yes, she would look like me, then when she got to be Grandmom's age, she'd look like her. OH my God did she wail!!! :rotfl:

lol. Well at least you didn't show up Christmas day wearing the same holiday sweater your mom was wearing! :rotfl2: That was me this year.
Got to quit shopping at Walmart.....At least we had different colored shirts on underneath.;)

Hehe, I am so out of it. I still like Eddie Bauer and LLBean....practical clothes for the Pacific Northwest. I'm a bit of an outdoor nut, so I guess it fits.

Your father would be proud, lol

I still don't see me being my mom. She runs around in "blouses" (oversized cotton floral button up shirts) and stovepipe jeans.

ummm What's wrong with the Eddie Bauer look????? 80% of my closet is LL Bean and Bauer :confused3

Next thing you know on your next trip to WDW you will be wearing shorts down to your knees.......your black knee high socks with your sandals and of course a hat with windshield sunglasses, and it won't be for MNSSHP! I can picture it now!............oh and don't forget the camera!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

My dad NEVER wore stuff like that, lol! If he wasn't in his postal uniform, it was jeans and a tshirt.

Too many tourists in NYC for the fashion police to bar a resident, though!

Next thing you know, you'll be using the term "slacks." :scared1:

My 46 year old DH calls them "slacks" and our DD's and I give him grief over it all the time!

I'm sure Mr Bauer appreciates you, Rick!

Watch out...these things sneak up on you! :rotfl2: Next thing you know your mannerisms and habits may be mirroring his, too!

My DH has begun telling me he can see what I'm going to be like x-number of years from now. He says I'm getting more and more like my mom every day so all he has to do is keep a check on her to know what to expect from me. My mom's a cool lady so I can only hope I'll be like her years from now...well, in most ways! :teeth: :cool2:

Sorry for bumping this up folks, but I had to make sure I say that there is nothing wrong with Eddie Bauer or LL Bean. I have that stuff in my closet obviously! But there IS something wrong when you were everything at the same time. You look like a poster child of the Garanimals era, or a store mannequin. Either way, not good.

As for looking like my Dad, I guess it could be worse. I could look like Marty Feldman... (look, now someone is going to say they had a crush on the Feldman... just watch). Anyway, I thought of this post this past weekend when Joe and I were taking a stroll in midtown Manhattan. He was behind me and said, "Hey, wow! You're starting to walk like your father." I just hung my head down and sighed. And proceeded to have three large hot sakes at dinner.

Garanimals!!! I haven't thought of those in years!!! My ds, 32, could still use them. No wonder I got him an LLBean gift cert for Christmas!!! :rotfl2:

I LOVED Garanimals! I wonder if they still make them? Now that I have a son I know they'd come in handy.
