Packing wardrobe for last week of Oct.

Hi,

Just some planning ahead...is the last week in October 'shorts' weather? I'm wondering if maybe I should take advantage of some of the summer clothes sales for our trip. Does it get cool in the evenings?I don't know why I'm asking....I always overpack anyway!

I have been to WDW several times during the time you are asking about. In fact I'm going Oct 28 - Nov 5 this year, and I will be honest. I'm packing shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, and one pair of blue jeans (for the trip home). For me, it will be shorts and tank tops for me. I'm from Tennessee and the weather is only 10-20 degrees different. I would pack a sweat shirt, but I always buy one as a souvenier (don't want to break a ritual ). Last year for MNSSHP I would have paid $50.00 for a tank top, it was hot and humid.

I understand about already thinking about it, I have been too! In fact, I've already made my list!

We've been the last full week of Oct. and the first week of Nov. We wore summer clothing. Did need a sweatshirt at night once in awhile. Otherwise, daytime highs were right around the low to mid 80's.

We wear shorts, t-shirts and bring a sweatshirt to put on at night.

I've been that time frame twice and wear a pair pants on the plane and bring long sleeve T (never wear it) and denim shirt (rarely wear-but may need in AC).

We went the last week of October in 2003 and we are going the last week of October this year. We wore shorts the whole time in 2003, I brought a pair of capris and a pair of jeans with me just in case there was a cold day, and also for the drive home. I plan on packing the same way this year, and hit all the summer clothes clearance sales this year to make sure I have enough shorts and such for the week we are there.

DIDDO! I am going the third week this year, and went 10/30-11/06 last year, no sweater wearing, no pants, no long sleeves! Wore capris a couple of evenings, but generally skorts, shorts and short sleeves, this year will take some tanks tops even, and I dislike them for my body type!

I am not even going to waste the space on pants or sweaters, well maybe one set for the plane ride home. Returning to Canada in late October it can be humid, cool or a blizzard, eek! But I will be in capris, a t-shirt and flip flops for the flight down, I hate getting to MCO and feeling calmy right out of the gate. And the trek to the rental garage is a hot one, oh, yeah attempting ME this trip, it a solo!
