Packing today - any chance we will need the sunhats?

We leave very early tomorrow morning so have to pack today and still hoping for a better forecast for the week ahead. :worried: It is damp and grey here and at the moment I am trying to decide if it will rain and if we will need the waterproofs when I take DS horse riding this morning. This afternoon I pack and I suppose I must prepare for the worst with wet and cold weather gear and hope to be able to take off layers if it comes out nice. At least we go by car so I am not restricted too much by quantity. Just hoping for a miracle sea-change in the weather I suppose! :rotfl2:

It will be warm, it's already 13° this morning, but very likely wet.

It's been very overcast and grey with occasional sun bursts and it's due to rain again this afternoon.

:goodvibes

I've been hoping too. Unlike the majority of the UK we've had beautiful sunshine here for the last couple of days. On Thursday temps reached 18d! It's overcast again this morning so I'll be packing the kagools too. We're flying this time so trying to be clever with what we pack.

We're packing today as well. Think the first thing in the case was the waterproofs :(

Can't believe we only have 1 sleep to go. Our little girl is so hyped up. :hyper:

We didn't and my OH has a very red head as a result! We were prepared for the drizzle, rain and cold, but a surprise burst of sun on Tuesday caught us out!

Rain and 13°C, not fun weather to be outside in but look at it from the bright side: Not many day tourists so queues shouldn't be to bad! :goodvibes
Monday and the days after temperatures are going up from 16 °C 'til 20°C on Wednesday, still grey clouds and chance of rain but at least you won't be freezing your toes off.

If it's a comfort: We went for a day the 21th of April and forecast gave 95% chance of rain all day. We only had a few quick but very heavy showers which lasted 5 minutes and then the sun came out after, to start raining again for five minutes a few hours after.

Queus and most attractions are inside anyway or covered so you shouldn't be getting too wet! And if you do, well, it's a nice excuse to buy one of those pretty 20th anniversary umbrella's isn't it? :rotfl:
Enjoy anyway, even rain can't beat the magic! :goodvibes

It rained for a bit early afternoon while we were at Val d'Europe but remained warm.

Is now very overcast but was dry until about 5 minutes ago and it's getting very dark :sad2:

Thanks everyone, it doesn't sound too bad does it? I have decided to go with wet/cool choices in the hope of tempting fate to let the sun out. I'll have a good excuse to buy some more summery clothes then. And yes, SleepingX3Beauty, I am already HUGELY tempted by the 20th anniversary umbrella!

Still packing, with seven hours until we leave and I was hoping to fit a bit of sleep in first. :rotfl:

Bon voyage to all travelling tomorrow. :goodvibes

Hope you have a great trip
