So excited....I'm starting to pack for our trip to Universal and DW on the week of March 22-29. How do you look stylish while doing the the parks? It's hard for me to look stylish in khaki shorts, black t-shirt and tennis shoes! I usually wear black slides with that type of outfit! Anyway, so what do wear while traveling when it's cold where you live and you're flying to Florida. I usually do backless loafers, khaki or black pants and a twin sweater set. Also, what do you bring for evenings/dinners out? Do you bring skirts or just stick to capris/sweaters? Thanks!

Can't answer. I am never stylish. I will be in shorts and T shirts and athletic shoes. Probably wear slacks and a nice T shirt and jacket from home.

On the plane, I wear Dockers, or similar, button down shirt, long or short sleeve depending on time of year/weather at home, and possibly a jacket/coat, again, depending on weather at home, loafer shoes. At WDW, same clothes, if chilly, shorts, if warm, athletic shoes for walking, lots of it. Same for days and nights, never formal at WDW, but then I am never too slopy, LOL. Boring, but it works. Have a great trip, Baseballmom94, you'll love the Dolphin.

I cannot have a good time at WDW (or anywhere else) if I feel 'frumpy'. I know that sounds strange to some people, but that's just the way I am! I always do my hair and makeup every day while at WDW and to the parks I usually wear a pair of shorts, cute top (I rarely wear T-shirts) and sandals. Tennis shoes are NOT comfortable to me - I cannot stand to have my feet 'confined' if I am doing a lot of walking. For dinners out, I will either wear the same thing I wear to the parks or change into a sundress, depending upon where we go. What I will often do, is go back to the resort, shower and change in to the outfit I plan to wear at the park the next day. That way, I am in clean clothes for dinner without having to pack too many extra clothes.

Well..... I don't usually aim for "fashionable", but I do try to avoid "frumpy" otherwise I hate the pictures later! I am not exactly a style queen (considering I was a Fashion Merch major my first two years of college!), and I do aim for comfort first while at WDW, but I do try to look "neat". Khaki or denim shorts, short sleeved top (not necessarily a t-shirt) and a nice zip up sweatshirt or fleece jacket. But I do wear white walking shoes/sneakers and white ankle sox. I couldn't handle all that walking in anything else. And I do make sure my hair and make up are neat.... minimal but neat. (Except for the morning of pouring rain at SeaWorld....... I had "rain hair the whole rest of the day!)............................P

Stylish???? LOL!

Our family, (DH, two teen boys and I), wear t-shirts and mesh or khaki shorts for our whole trip. Athletic shoes all day.

I guess we are "frumpy"!

Come to think of it, I guess I am "frumpy" 100% of the time at home too! LOL!

Enjoy your trip!!!

I'm the same as kimr, I don't like to feel frumpy and do not wear t-shirts, I like to wear fitted tops with shorts and sandals and usually a hat (but not a baseball cap) as my head burns easily.
For an evening I usually wear a sundress or summer skirt and fitted top or a pair of smart casual trousers and top. For meals out I usually put jewelery on and have a change of make up and wear smarter sandals or summer shoes (perhaps with a small heel.)

I honestly don't care what anyone is wearing. I don't even notice other people's outfits. I go there to have fun, and in 100+ degree heat I like to be as comfortable as possible.

I wear Shorts and a cami/strappy shirt to AK....that is a HOT park.:p In Feb. I wore Jeans and shirt and socks and sneakers....OH, and a JACKET!

Oh but it's so much fun to see what others are wearing at Disney.
It really doesn't matter what you wear as long as you are comfortable.
We usually go in Nov or Dec so it's jeans and short sleeve shirts and sneakers...

I just wear a t-shirt and sorts usually. By the end of the day, no one really looks stylish, so why bother at the beginning?
